Learn to become familiar with your feeling state. Imagine watching yourself as if you were between 18 and 24 months old. Just notice. There is no need to express. Just be and study what this feeling is telling you.

Most of this month I initiated the 21 day Patricia’s Positive (Be Positive) Psychology Challenge. Actually there are some people who are just now starting it, continuing or participating for a second time. Take a look.
But one element I took for granted is that people would know how the theories, research and applied practices of Positive Psychology strengthen resilience. Here is a look at the relationship. Note: Emotional Intelligence is also closely aligned to the research in resilience.
Sometimes life stinks. We suddenly discover that we’ve been drifting in a leaky boat that finally goes under. No matter how competent we are events external to our locus of control destroys what is important to us. Multiple adversities make crumbling into ashes normal. Yet, through adversity, a stronger person emerges with increased self-esteem.
