Recemtly, I attended a funeral of a dear woman who died at 51 years of age. It is with mixed emotions that I attend such events. Present are the elements of loss and sadness along with the celebration of accomplishments, connections and the differences the deceased made while on earth. I recall when our dear daughter-in-law Chandra died; at the end of the service we gave her LIFE a standing ovation. I often leave memorial services inspired to live my days to their fullest . . . and often more consciously.
