    Hi Patricia,

I just went through the guilt exercise, and I found it both painful and deeply insightful. It was also incredibly cleansing.

Thank you for creating such a powerful space for reflection and healing. I plan to go through it again and again, especially with my kids.

You truly are a giver, and I’m so grateful for the impact your work is having on me.

    Much love and respect

      Dear Genet,

Thank you for the gift of your time and thoughtful acknowledgment. You are one in more than a 1000 to do so. The Solutions for Resilience website has between 10,0000 and 13,000 visitors a month and receives only a handful of legitimate comments each month.

Your comment reinforces my believe that counselling therapy, self-help exercises, books, and websites ‘do not work’. It is the individuals, who want to grow, heal, and meaningful connect with others, who do the work. Thank you for stepping up and doing the work.

At the same time the guilt, resentment, and regret exercise can be overwhelming for many people. As you described painful feelings can emerge. So I often support clients through the process. For therapists and coaches, such as yourself, you might offer to repeatedly prompt each sentence beginning and write it down, plus help the client ‘return to center’ if triggered. In your situation I am impressed you completed the process on your own and are considering returning to it.

By the way, you are indeed blessed if your kids agree to do this process with you. Many would not be interested or would see it as a parental control tactic. ❤️🐞
